Kids sample Vitamin C supplement from Wyeth

Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, best known for its Clusivol multivitamin product with the commercial catchphrase "bawal magkasakit," gave away samples of its Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) supplement to children from two to 12 years old during the Clusivol Power C Power Tour from November 10 to 12 at its Power C Booth at the lower ground floor of SM City-Cebu.
Abram Monzon, senior key account manager of Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, said the mall tour was part of a series of interactive events for moms and kids that they organized on weekends since October 20 in selected malls of key cities in the country.
The event will wrap up on November 19 at the SM Mall of Asia in Manila simultaneous with that in SM Davao. The recent event at SM City-Cebu was done simultaneously with the one in SM Megamall.
Monzon added that the nationwide mall tour aims to advocate protection against sickness among children. The 100 percent Vitamin C supplement for children, Clusivol Power C, offers protection from sickness.
Wyeth sees a big need to strengthen resistance of children against ailments synonymous to what the brand Clusivol has stood for from the moment it was introduced in the health market. The tour also featured a variety of fun activities and special treats for kids two to 12 years old.
To join in the fun activities or to avail of freebies such as samples of Clusivol Power C in 15-ml bottles, mothers were required to take their kids to the event at any of the participating malls. Upon registration at the Power C Booth manned by promotion girls tagged the Power C Squad, each child automatically received the Clusivol Power C sample.
Then they were treated to the Mall Animation Area, the booth outside the mall activity area, where illustrations of the Clusivol Power C mascot were distributed to them so they could practice their coloring skills at the Power Color Station with the help of Li'l Hands that provided the coloring materials. Others with cameras posed for souvenir shots at the Power Picture area for free.
Monzon disclosed that over 12,000 samples were distributed during the three-day event here.
Moreover, those who purchased Clusivol Power C, in either 60 ml or 120 ml or 250 ml, have availed of the product cheaper by 15 percent. Also, there were more on-site freebies their kids availed of such as Power Balloons, Power Face Art and surprise gifts from the Power Prize Bowl.
