Man shot dead after dart game

A man who had just played dart game never reached home after an unidentified man followed him and shot him several times killing him instantly along a narrow path in sitio Punyang, barangay Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City, last Saturday evening.

The fatality who was identified as Raul Cabo, 36, of sitio Huyong-huyong, barangay Mambaling, Cebu City, was on his way home when the suspect shot him.

Based on the investigation led by SPO3 Alex Dacua, prior to the killing, the victim was with his friends identified as Allan Caballero and Arnold Abellana playing darts in sitio Plastikan, barangay Duljo-Fatima.

While they were playing, the group also downed several bottles of liquor and later on the victim decided to go home and walked alone along the said pathway where he was shot.

Operatives from the Scene of the Crime Operation recovered three empty shells and a deformed slug of a .45 cal. pistol from the crime scene.

Police are eyeing personal grudge as the motive behind the incident. - Edwin Ian Melecio
