Construction worker arrested for sexually abusing waitress

A 35-year-old construction worker was arrested by elements of the Pardo Police Station after he was accused of sexually molesting a 53-year-old waitress of a karaoke bar in sitio Poblacion, barangay Pardo yesterday dawn.

Police identified the suspect as Luisito Obaob, married and a resident of Cogon Drive of the barangay.

Based on the investigation conducted by the Pardo police, the victim alleged that while she was using the bathroom of the bar, Obaob suddenly barged in and mashed her breast. The victim quickly asked for help from her fellow workers who then called the police.

SPO3 Sanrico Jolejole arrested the suspect and detained him at the Pardo Police Station. However, Obaob was released almost five hours later after the victim said she was not interested to file charges against him. - Edwin Ian Melecio/LPM
