Brownouts to hit Mandaue on Sunday

Power outage will hit a portion of Mandaue City this Sunday due to upgrading and improvement of facilities to be conducted by the Visayan Electric Company.

From 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., parts of Banilad, Mandaue City, along A.S. Fortuna St., fronting 21st Century Internet Café, Cebu SJS, Maay Interprises, Mark David Export Services, Shinjoen Yakiniko Restaurant, the Urban Outlet, Basic Essentials, Second Wind Properties, Inc, and Gomeco Metal Corporation.

VECO said its Transmission and Distribution department has requested for the upgrading of the transformer and various lines in Banilad, Mandaue City. - Wenna A. Berondo/QSB
