Cop accused of harassment

A policeman assigned to the Bohol Provincial Police Office has been accused of harassing a resident of sitio Langub, barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City, last Sunday evening.

PO1 Wenceslao Dino and some other companions allegedly stoned the house of Senen Cortes in sitio Langub for no apparent reason.

Cortes lodged her complaint before the Guadalupe police station after one of her neighbors said that they noticed a group of persons passing the place at the time of the incident and one of them was identified as Dino, who also lives in the area.

The neighbors believe Dino was drunk at the time.

Police investigators invited residents in the area to submit their testimony as basis of filling the charges against Dino. They also invited Dino to answer the accusations against him. - Jose P. Sollano
