Ouano said the materials that will be used for the project will all be pre-fabricated.
The Regional Development Council's project monitoring team had passed a resolution asking the National Housing Authority for the immediate release of the P100-million budget for the project.
City administrator Serafin Blanco said the RDC came up with such a resolution after learning the city government had already complied with all the requirements needed for the implementation of the project.
The proposed housing project will be used as a relocation site for the 208 informal settlers of the Paradise Island. The city considers the settlers an eyesore.
