Man slays wife after spat over hen

A man killed his wife after she scolded him for cooking their hen for his friends while they were having a few drinks last Wednesday evening in barangay Tubod, Sibonga town.
Prima Revilleza, 39, was stabbed several times with a knife by her husband, Felix Revilleza, 39, a farmer.
Police said Felix was drinking with friends in a neighbor's house, when Felix was drunk he went home, took their hen and slaughtered it against the will of his wife.
When Felix went home the two argued and Felix stabbed her in the left side of her left chest and other parts of the body.
Prima was rushed to Deiparine Medical Center in Sibonga but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
Felix was arrested by responding policemen a few minutes after the incident. - Gregg M. Rubio
