June 21, 2006 | 12:00am
Thieves of electrical wires did not spare the house of Cebu first district Representative Eduardo Gullas at barangay Candulawan, Minglanilla town.
A 270-meter long electrical wire of the water pump of the congressman's Villa Norma residence was found cut off and stolen by still unidentified persons.
Ramil Saragosa, security inspector of the house, reported the incident to the Minglanilla Police Station Monday morning but he believed that the theft occurred sometime last Saturday when he noticed there was water supply disruption to the residence.
The Minglanilla Police is still conducting follow-up investigation that would lead to the identity and arrest of the thieves. - Gregg M. Rubio
