Seven people were injured in a traffic accident involving a multicab along the national road in barangay Taytay, Danao City Thursday morning.
The multicab, which was driven by Emma Gunzel, of barangay San Antonio, Bogo town, was traveling northbound when it evaded an approaching Ceres Bus liner.
Unfortunately, Gunzel, who reportedly has no driver's license, lost control of the multicab and the vehicle swerved to the left side of the road, hitting a container full of taho.
A certain Rudy Poras, a Guinsay, Danao City resident who was buying taho at that time, was hit by the taho container while standing near his parked bicycle. Poras was reportedly thrown into a nearby canal.
At the time of the incident, a tricycle, which was running next to the bus, with Plate Number GS 7378 and was driven by a certain Eddie Berva, 36, of barangay Guinsay, Danao City, then bumped into the right portion of the multicab. - Gregg M. Rubio
