Couple falls in drug operation in Toledo

A man and his live-in partner were arrested in a drug raid on their house along Diosdado Macapagal Street in Poblacion, Toledo City early morning yesterday.
Elements from the Toledo City police led by station chief Eliakim Awit swooped down on the residence of Salvador Jaranilla Diano, alias "Body," and Aniceta Algaba Paculanan, alias Evelyn, around 5:15 a.m.
Armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Cesar Estrera of the Regional Trial Court Branch 29 in that city, the raiding team confiscated seven plastic sachets of suspected shabu, a marijuana stick, three cell phone units, P1,027 cash and some drug paraphernalia.
Appropriate charges have been filed against the suspects who are now detained at the Toledo City Detention and Rehabilitation Center. - Gregg M. Rubio
