Confiscated from him were a small sachet of suspected shabu and another eight small sachets of suspected shabu placed inside a small yellow plastic container, the buy-bust money, P100 bill believed to be drug money, shabu paraphernalia, and a cellular phone.
At 8 p.m. the policemen proceeded to sitio Matumbo, barangay Pusok, and conducted another buy bust against a certain Dexie Roy Pepito and Arturo Omolon Ibales alias "Turo". The operation led to the arrest of Ibales and the recovery of the bust money, a cell phone, a medium sized pack of suspected shabu and two small sachets of suspected shabu that was sold to the lawmen.
However, Pepito managed to escape from the operatives during the operation. The policemen later went to this house and the house of his parents but did not find him there.
Evidence recovered from the house included two medium sizes and 32 small sachets of suspected of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, several pieces of small plastic sachets intended for repacking shabu, four rounds of live ammunition for a 9mm cal. pistol and P93 in different denominations.
The search on the house of his parents, which was also suspected to be a drug den, yielded no such contraband.
At 11 p.m. the policemen served the search warrant against the house of another drug suspect but came back empty-handed, the search witnessed by Basak barangay captain Jose Dungog and chief tanod Manuel Reyes Jr,
At the same time the operatives arrested Lynette Arsenal Meca, 27, a native of Pedrosa Street, Bogo town and temporarily residing at Patalinghug Avenue, barangay Basak; and Jeb Perez Silva, 32, a driver of a company in the Mactan Export Processing Zone 1 and presently residing at Ibabao, Marigondon, of the city. The two were arrested after allegedly being caught in the act of buying suspected shabu from an unidentified pusher along the road of the said place while the operatives were conducting surveillance.
