Mantawi foundation asks for P3M funding

Mantawi Foundation, Incorporated, headed by Albino Gothong, has requested from the Mandaue City council the amount of P3.5 million as initial funding for the upcoming city fiesta.

The request was discussed by the city councilors during their session last April 17 at the Mandaue City Hall.

It was also discussed during the regular session that the foundation must submit its proposed program of activities and expenditures; and that after the festival, the foundation will submit a certificate of fund utilization on how the fund was spent according to its program of activities.

Councilor Carlo Pontico Fortuna said that the money shall be transferred to the foundation after Mayor Thadeo Ouano signs the memorandum of agreement.
