Rift growing among ABC execs

There is now reportedly a rift between Association of Barangay Councils President Eugenio "Jing-jing" Faelnar and the ABC board members.
The root of disappointment of some board members can be traced to the ongoing criminal case they are facing before the Sandiganbayan filed by Leah Rondez, who accused the officials of refusing to reimburse gasoline expenses she incurred while serving as ABC engineer.
Four board members interviewed by The Freeman who requested anonymity confirmed that there is conflict between Faelnar and board member Nilo Tariman, who is the barangay captain of Pit-os.
The internal conflict of the board started when ABC officials refused to pay the P4,300 gasoline reimbursements of Rondez. A source from the ABC said that some board members insisted to pay Rondez the amount but Faelnar and former ABC lawyer Raul Bito-on insisted otherwise.
"Nahiubos gyud si Nilo kay kung na-reimburse lang unta ang gasoline dili unta moabot sa punto mogasto nahinuon og dako para lang sa kaso," one of the board member said.
