Man shot dead

A 23-year-old man was shot on his way home with his wife yesterday dawn in barangay Tabunok, Talisay City. Samuel Alferez died later in hospital.
Police said Alferez sustained a single gunshot wound. Witnesses pointed to a certain Wilbur Bas of barangay Dumlog as Alferez's assailant. They said Bas, who was with a companion, left the scene in a green car with plate number UCY-591.
