2 killed in Sibonga highway accident

Two persons were killed while another one was injured during a vehicular incident along the national highway in barangay Simala, Sibonga town Friday evening.
Jessie Gala and Arnel Retardo Lobitos were declared dead on arrival at the town's Deiparene Medical Clinic after they fell from a motorcycle following a collision with a van.
Investigation conducted by PO3 Dario Gabac and PO2 Ederlino Bacusmo of the Sibonga Police Station revealed that Gala was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle with Lobitos and Mario dela Cruz when upon reaching barangay Simala, a white van traveling from opposite direction accidentally collided with them.
The victims, all residents of barangay Bagacay, fell to the ground while the van continued to speed away. Dela Cruz, however, managed to survive the incident as he only sustain minor injuries
