The company has offered to the Sinulog Foundation the exclusive use of Legacy First vehicles, which were formally turned over to the city government yesterday morning.
Among the conditions set forth in the agreement is that the cost of gasoline, oil, and other incidental expenses that may be needed to maintain the vehicles shall be provided by Porta Coeli Industrial Company, Incorporated, an affiliate of the Norkis Group of Companies.
PCIC will also provide drivers and support personnel for each of the vehicles, one service unit on site, and two other backup units in cases of emergency during the duration of the activities.
However, the Sinulog Foundation agreed to shoulder all expenses that may be incurred in cases of accidents, traffic violations, loss, or any damage of the units. The Sinulog Foundation is also in charge of returning the vehicles to the company not later than 5 p.m. on Monday, the day after the mardi gras.
Other miscellaneous agreements include passes to be given to the personnel and officials of the Norkis Group of Companies and the vehicles to be called as the official car of this year's Sinulog mardi gras. - Joeberth M. Ocao
