Drug arrest yields bogus P500 bill

A man was arrested by policemen of the T. Padilla station led by chief Supt. Glenn Ares for having two packs of shabu and a fake P500 bill in barangay Kamagayan, Cebu City, last Thursday night.
Police identified the suspect as Neil Niclaus Solin who was arrested after giving a pack of shabu to a poseur-buyer in exchange for marked money. After his arrest, police searched him and found another pack of shabu, drug paraphernalia and a fake P500 bill on him.
The suspect said that a certain "Buddy" Uy of barangay Kalunasan, Cebu City, was behind the production and manufacture of fake peso bills and even fake documents.
Solin is now detained at the T. Padilla police station pending the filing of appropriate charges against him.
