Seven injured in bus accident

Five passengers, a bus conductor and the driver of a Ceres bus liner were hurt when the vehicle fell into an 80-meter ravine in barangay Arbor, Boljoon town yesterday dawn.
The Ceres bus liner with plate number GWK-721, driven by Tomas Bullecer, 33, and a resident of barangay Poblacion in Argao town, was on its way to Cebu City from barangay Bato in Oslob town when it fell into an 80-meter ravine after the driver failed to maneuver his vehicle upon reaching a curve along the national highway of barangay Arbor.
Among those who suffered injuries were Niel Mirasol, 36, of Poblacion Oslob; Eleuterio Trasnil, 44, of Talisay, Santander; Reylan Pacquiao, 29, of Talisay, Santander; Bonifacio Pagao, 50, of Cansaga, Consolacion; Albert Dacumos, 23, of Tubod, Toledo; and Ronnie Bendong, a bus inspector.
All six of them were brought to the Dalaguete District Hospital while Bullecer, the bus driver, was brought to a hospital here in Cebu City after he sustained severe leg injuries.
