No one was arrested during a raid inside a mall yesterday afternoon when members of
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group seized about 250 pieces of Playboy digital and video compact discs with an estimated total worth of P22,800 from a store inside a mall yesterday afternoon. No one was arrested.
The video discs were authentic and bore the holographic stickers of the Videogram Regulatory Board but raiding team leader C/Insp. Rex Derilo said the discs were seized based on an earlier complaint that these items violated City Ordinance 1408 or the anti-indecency ordinance.
City Anti-Indecency Board chairman Dr. Rene Bullecer has complained to CIDG that video items allegedly showing lewd or obscene films were reportedly sold inside the mall. - Ryan P. Borinaga
