Guard commits suicide after wife leaves him

Desperate after his wife reportedly left him, a security guard ended his life by hanging himself inside the establishment he was guarding in barangay Guadalupe yesterday dawn.
The fatality was identified as Rogelio Gerodias, 31, a member of Alesna Security and Detective Agency, and a resident of barangay Quiot.
Gerodias was found hanging at the garage of the school where he was on duty and was still in complete uniform with his .38 cal. revolver still holstered.
Initial investigation by SPO3 Zenaido Pastorfide revealed that lately Gerodias has been lonesome after his wife left him due to a misunderstanding.
Annie Probisado, the sister of Gerodias, revealed that the latter was left with three children after his wife went away and never came back.
What worried Gerodias was the fact that his wife reportedly asked somebody to rent their house in Quiot that has caused inconvenience to his own family.
Investigators found no foul play in the guard's death. - Ryan P. Borinaga
