Wanted person nabbed in Pinamungajan town

One of the ten most wanted persons in Pinamungajan town was arrested Friday evening in sitio Tubod, barangay Poblacion, when he failed to report to the office of the Board of Pardons and Parole.
Venancio Kyamco was arrested by elements of Pinamungajan police led by Insp. Eduardo Augustine Torres based on the order of BPP executive secretary Reynaldo Bayang.
Imprisoned for a rape case, Kyamco was granted parole by the BPP in 2001 after serving his sentence for years. On June 27, he was arrested for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition but was released after posting bail in July.
He is now detained at the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center. - Norvie S. Misa, UV Journalism intern
