Political prisoners on hunger strike?

Political prisoners at the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center are reported to have gone on hunger strike since Thursday to protest their confinement at the maximum-security cell and their being barred from joining other inmates during sunning.
However, sophisticated security gadgets of the CPDRC found out that the hunger strike was bogus. Based on the jail's surveillance camera, the prisoners have been taking their own meals despite refusing to accept their food ration.
The security camera footages showed that political prisoner Edgardo Sacamay was given two kilos of "pork adobo", a kilo of cooked rice, three slices of chocolate cake, six sachets of chocolate drink, a 200-gram pack of coffee and sugar by his wife, Angelina, when she visited him last Sunday.
The other political prisoner, Ronald Sendrijas, received a whole fried chicken, 50 pieces of assorted bread and a kilo of cooked rice from his brother. Jigger Geverola, another political prisoner, also received two fried fish and a kilo of cooked rice from his wife, Lisa Badayos.
Byron Garcia, Capitol consultant on security, said the political prisoners wanted a relax security at the maximum-security cell. Sacamay and his group also demand that they be allowed to join the rest of the inmates during sunning every morning.
Garcia said they could not relax the security at the maximum-security cell since suspected drug financier Calvin Tan is also confined in the area.
Garcia said the political prisoners have their own sunning time for their own security, adding that some inmates are angry because they are causing trouble inside the jail facility.
