Veco schedules power outages

Various places in Metro Cebu will be experiencing power interruptions starting tomorrow until Sunday while the Visayan Electric Company upgrades its primary lines and posts.

Ethel Taneo-Natera, corporate communications, said these power service interruptions are needed to improve the facilities in these areas.

Areas without power on August 19 are all streets of barangay Hipodromo, barangays Poblacion, Tugbongan, and Jagobiao in Mandaue City and some parts of Consolacion. On Saturday, power would be cut off to Colon Street, C. Padilla Street, Tres de Abril, Lakandula Street, Climaco Street, Dimasalang Street, and B. Aranas Street.

This Sunday, power would be interrupted in some parts of Leon Kilat St., Escaño Street, J. Leyson Street, Borromeo Street, and some parts in barangay Ermita. - Garry B. Lao
