Driver gets 10 years

The court yesterday sentenced a trisikad driver to 10 years imprisonment after it found him guilty of snatching the gold bracelet of a policewoman inside a passenger jeepney along Natalio Bacalso Avenue two years ago.

RTC Judge Anacleto Caminade turned down the defense of Noel Baluyos that he was not the one who grabbed the jewelry of P01 Celina Dizon, who positively identified him as the snatcher. - Rene U. Borromeo
