An ex-convict who had just been released from the National Bilibid Prison, and allegedly a notorious troublemaker in his place in barangay Bahay, Sibonga town, was shot dead inside his house last Sunday night.
Francisco Antona, 67, single, had served time for murder.
PO3 Ramuel Banogon of the Sibonga police station said Antona was shot in the face while he was sleeping. It was the second attempt on his life. He survived the first attempt, getting hit only in the thigh and right hand. He did not file charges because he could not identify his attacker.
