Bigtime drug pusher falls

Police arrested three men and confiscated P20,000 worth of shabu in a raid yesterday morning in sitio Mojon, barangay, Cawit, Medellin town.
A team of operatives from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group led by S/Insp. Richard Caballero went to Medellin yesterday dawn to arrest Rey Linabog, a suspected drug pusher in the area.
Linabog, a Level 2 drug pusher who can reportedly dispose of at least 200 grams up to a kilo of shabu per week, was not around when police get there at past 7 a.m. to serve the search warrant issued by judge Meinrado Paredes.
Instead they caught Gerry Linabog, Manuel Orbiso and Virgil Desabelle reportedly repacking shabu. Twenty medium plastic packs of shabu estimated at about 10 grams were confiscated.
The three claimed they were at the house to visit Linabog and denied they were repacking shabu, although they admitted to be drug users.
But operatives recovered 837 unused rolled tinfoils, a calculator, a disposable lighter, an improvised burner and 15 big empty sachets to support the claim that the three were indeed repacking shabu.
Caballero said an informant tipped them off about the activities of Linabog and that he was even spotted buying shabu from Pasil days ago.
He said the operation yesterday was a product of a two-week long surveillance that included tailing Linabog up to Medellin where his illegal activities were confirmed prior to applying for a search warrant.
