Lapu-Lapu OKs P45M supplemental budget

The Lapu-Lapu City council approved Supplemental Budget No. 3 amounting to P44.9 million in its special session yesterday.
The council also approved the P925,000 budget for the city market and slaughterhouse and the P3.9 million for the city's development fund.
It allocated P8 million for the payment and development of a lot in sitio Sudtungan, barangay Calawisan declared by President Arroyo as a housing site.
An amount of P3 million was set aside for compensation/disturbance fee of structures in different barangays of the city affected by the implementation of city projects, P2.7 million for the purchase of garbage compactors, and P800,000 for education assistance to regular and casual employees of city hall.
