Man arrested for stealing

Police detained a man in Dalaguete town after alleged stolen things were found in his possession last Saturday.
Hazel Pasigma, 24, a resident of barangay Poblacion together with her house help were sleeping when suspect Oliver Selirio, also a resident of the place, reportedly broke into her house through the kitchen door.
The suspect reportedly entered the victim's room and took away her cellular phone worth P18,000 and another mobile phone worth P3,500, P2,500, two ATM cards, and a voter's ID belonging to the victim.
The stolen items were recovered when a certain Engilbert Villanueva together with a relative of the victim were able to track down the suspect after he was seen loitering around their place boasting to friends he was able to buy a new cellphone.
He was then turned over to the Dalaguete Police. Charges will be filed against Selirio.
