A 36-year-old man was killed after being shot twice last Wednesday afternoon in barangay Malalay, Ronda town.
The victim was identified as Delfin Panerio Omboy, a resident of the place. Police said Omboy was drinking with his cousins inside a store at the public market of the said barangay when a certain "A-ay" Torres came.
Torres allegedly shot the victim two times hitting him in the left side of the face and in the back.
The assailant fled away while one of the victim's cousins, who was armed, tried to run after the suspect and both exchanged fire, resulting to the injury of an unidentified civilian infront of the public market.
The civilian rushed to Cebu City hospital for medical treatment. His condition was not immediately known.
Police recovered from the crime scene a holster and a homemade .357 cal. revolver with three live bullets from the body of Omboy. They said that the motive of the killing was a personal grudge.
