Couple falls in drug trap

Police, after being tipped off, arrested a man and his live-in partner for selling shabu in barangay Calajoan, Minglanilla town last Tuesday night.

After a police decoy received the shabu he had pretended to buy, policemen, led by Minglanilla police chief P/Insp. Carlos Reyes, and a few men from the Philippine Drugs Enforcement Agency, immediately arrested Jimmy Ferolino, 36, of Liloan town and Lizelle Lascuna, 26, of Spolarium Street, Cebu City. The couple yielded shabu when frisked.

A resident in the place began to be suspicious when he noticed people going in and out of the couple's rented room. He then called the police.

Police got back the P1,500 marked money used in the operation.

Both suspects are now detained at the Minglanilla police station.
