New Hospital-Based Dental Institute

CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu Doctors Group of Hospitals (CebuDoc Group) had the blessing and inauguration of the CebuDoc Dental Institute on April 10.

Located at the 5th level of the Cebu Doctors University Hospital Medical Arts Building 2 along Gov. M. Roa Street, Capitol Site, Cebu City, the facility is a pioneering hospital-based dental institute in the Visayas and Mindanao regions – offering preventive and treatment services for oral and dental health concerns.

Headed by Dr. Imelda Montuerto, the institute is the only facility of its class in the Visayas region to-date to have a dedicated operating room, and prides in having the latest dental diagnostics and treatment machines – including a digital x-ray system and a cone beam computed tomography machine (which is generally referred to as a “CT-Scan machine for dentists”).

The facility’s range of services covers general dentistry, preventive dentistry, dental diagnostics and laboratory services, orthodontics, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, oral maxillofacial surgery and TMD management, among others.

The blessing and inauguration makes the CebuDoc Dental Institute as the second of the CebuDoc Group’s growing wellness brands to open after the opening of the Center for Aesthetics and Laser in August last year. The new facility is part of the CebuDoc Group’s developing Wellness Complex, a comprehensive health and wellness facility that emphasizes disease prevention, as opposed to disease treatment.
