The Fashion Side of Miss Mandaue 2018 Pageant

CEBU, Philippines — Avant garde designs are essentially part of beauty pageants and the yearly search for Miss Mandaue abides by such tradition. The pageant has been a good venue for showcasing the works of established and new local fashion designers.

With “Festivals from Around the World” for its theme, this year’s Miss Mandaue Coronation Night, on May 6, was memorable with the creations of designers Jul Oliva and Philip Rodriguez sharing the spotlight. Designs by Paco Serafica, Jojo Romoff, Rey Humberto Villegas, Elmer de Venancio, Philipp Tampus, Harley Ruedas, Marichu Tan-Geson, Rei Escario, Mel Maria, Irvin Lisen, Protacio and Dino Lloren were also featured.
