BalletCenter's Last Performance in 2015

BalletCenter Cebu and Marco Polo Plaza Cebu presented the classical ballet "Giselle" last December 11 and 12 at Ayala Cinema 1.

These performances were repeat performances due to the unqualified success of the premier last September. Artistic Director Nicolas Pacaña, who had an illustrious career abroad attaining the highest level awarded that is Premier Danseur of the Atlanta Ballet, directed and choreographed the production. He first danced the male lead Albrect while dancing as a principal at the Boston Ballet. He fell in love with the role and the ballet and created this version for our Cebuano audiences.

Performing the principal roles were principal ballerina Genette Terez and Carlo Padoga. Supporting lead roles were Mhyrtha, Helga Beuken or Aika Moro, Peasant Pas de Deux; Jamayma Aragon and Khynloyd Genson or Hannah Ariao and Eddie Carl Garcia; Hilarion was danced by Clinton Dignos.
