New home, same yummy offerings

CEBU, Philippines – After six years in Ayala Terraces, the place known for serving modern Australian cuisine has moved to its new location at Paseo One, along Maria Luisa Road, Banilad. Canvas Bistro Bar & Gallery continues to serve quality food using local and fresh ingredients available and prepared to serve the discriminating palates of guests as well as their wellbeing.

The bistro serves a new menu featuring traditional favorites like Shrimp and Beansprout "Ukoy" Fritters, Meltique Beef Sirloin Steak with Roesti Potato Wedge and Slow Braised Beef Osso Bucco with Mash Potato and Vegetables.

Also in the new menu are the Thai Fish Cakes with Cucumber Dipping Sauce, Whole Wheat Triple Decker with Ham, Egg, Chicken, Cheese & Salad and Tangigue Simmered in Coconut Vinegar, Soy, Citrus & Ginger on Asian Vegetable Rice. Gluten-free dishes have also been included.

The bistro's chefs are happy that Canvas is no longer positioned as a 'mall restaurant' and are, in fact, working on blackboard specials to add variety in the selection and further raise the bar of the dining experience.

Canvas Bistro Bar and Gallery is also strengthening its catering service for small groups and corporate events.
