CEBU, Philippines - In the recently concluded Condé Nast Traveler 28th Annual Readers' Choice Awards, a resort hotel in Mactan ranked third among the "Top 25 Resorts in Asia" and placed at 51st in the "Top 100 Hotels and Resorts in the World" - Shangri-La's Mactan Resort & Spa, Cebu. The resort was the only Philippine property recognized at the award ceremony this year.

Over 128,000 travelers took part in the survey - reportedly yet the highest number of voters in the awarding body's history - submitting ratings and comments on the world's best in hospitality. Condé Nast Traveler is the luxury and lifestyle travel magazine published by international media group Condé Nast.
