November Birthday Celebrators and Celebrations

First day of October was Meren Gepilano’s red letter day. And to enjoy her day, Meren gathered her friends and relatives to a delightful lunch at the Simply J resto along Escario Street. Her special guest was Annabelle Rama and her coterie of friends from the big city. Also present was Meren’s son, Capt. Rico Gepilano with wife Emma.

On the same day, Lita Cabugao, wife of Capt. Joe Cabugao had also her birthday lunch at the Original Pino restaurant with members of her family and friends from the Jesu Christi Community headed by Fr. Soc Saldua in attendance. This time, Lita had more guests who came to help her celebrate her umpteenth birthday.

Last October 16 was The Freeman’s Editor-in-Chief Quennie Bronce’s birthday. She spent this day with her family. But on Monday, October 19, Quennie took her time off with her colleagues from TF and we had a marvelous lunch at Pino’s. While we were enjoying the food, Joel Rama del Prado, the big boss of Pino instructed the waiter that “it’s on me!” Omigosh… we thanked Joel for the hospitality.

Do you know The Original Pino’s resto has no less than 20 courses of selected menu everyday… not to mention the Crispy Pata for lunch and lechon in the evening? Kudos to Joel del Prado who’s hands-on in keeping this all-Filipino resto on top!
