Ballet Center Cebu presents "Giselle"
Balletcenter Cebu readies for "Giselle" with gala performance on September 25-26 at 7:30 p.m. with special Children's Ballet "Little Red Riding Hood" on September 26 at 2 p.m. Repeat performances are scheduled for December 11-12 at 7:30 p.m. for "Giselle" with Special Children's ballet "Little Red Riding Hood" on December 12 at 2 p.m.
Proceeds from these events in September and December are for the benefit of Balletcenter scholars and the Arts Council of Cebu.
These Balletcenter Cebu presentations take place at Ayala Center Cebu's Cinema 1. Choreography is by Artistic Director Nicolas Pacaña after Marius Petipa.

From Dr. Warfe Engracia comes this very interesting news that after years of having not seen his fave actress Gloria Sevilla, Warfe finally was united with the Cebuana actress during Visayan Film Festival at SM City Cebu Cinema 1. To Warfe, it was the most exciting moment to see again Gloria Sevilla with daughter Suzette Panillo, Pilar Pilapil and Lovely Irrizari where he and friend Sam Costanilla did an impromptu mini concert.

Over lunch at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino's Japanese resto, we formally met with the new General Manager Grant Raymond Jefferies, Director of Food & Beverage Michele Cantini and Executive Chef Mark Mulder. GM Jefferies is Australian, Michel is Italian and Chef Mark is Dutch. We the media group welcomed the three with warm greetings to the Queen City of the South!
