"Cuppa Folk" at Degree 9

CEBU, Philippines - September is more than just oversized sweaters and rainfall. It's about music, coffee, and stories cozying up the Saturday night. "Cuppa Folk" is back and takes its third run of storytelling through songs to a whole new degree. The musical event marks its next stop - Degree 9 Coffee, at the Ground Floor of GAGFA Bldg., Kasambagan, Cebu City.

This time around, the lineup of artists ready to take hearts on a raw and blissful ride of authentic folk tunes includes: Kurt Ebarita, Lourdes Maglinte, Vincent Eco, and duo DebbAcebu and Karl Lucente, performing on  Saturday, September 5; while Ella Melendez, Kim Trinidad, Luis Quibranza III, and Ryan Lawrence perform on September 19, with a special appearance by Mother Folker, Cattski Espina.

To provide that sacred space for songs to thrive and stories to flourish, conscious listening is encouraged from the listeners; thus, the #shhhhpolicy will be implemented as artists share their stories without the fear of being vulnerable in front of an audience. The show is from 6 p.m. onwards.
