Sinulog Fun Run 2015.

Postponed from December 30 due to typhoon Seniang, the Sinulog Fun Run set the Sinulog season to start with over 1,000 participants joining the marathon at the Cebu City Sports Center.

January 6, Tuesday.

Vivo Sugbo opening.

The one-stop shop tourist destination - Vivo Sugbo (formerly Amnezia Superclub) opened at the Mandaue North Reclamation, with a performance by the San Diego Dance Group. The place will be filled with delicacy and souvenir shops, food and services stalls when fully operational.

January 7, Wednesday.

"Tragic Theater"advanced screening.

Viva Entertainment invited select media friends to an advanced screening of "Tragic Theater," a horror flick about the exorcism of a film center.

January 8, Thursday.

Sinulog 2015 official start.

Opening the religious celebrations towards the feast day of the Holy Child was the Walk with Jesus at 4:30 a.m. Thousands of devotees participated in the penitential walk from the Fuente Osmeña Circle to the Basilica del Sto. Niño. Afterwards, the first day of the novena masses for Sr. Sto. Nino started.

January 9, Friday.

"Sinulog Idol Year 6" launching.

The 12 finalists of this year's "Sinulog Idol" singing competition had its opening show at the Fuente Osmeña Circle. The nightly show would have its grand finale on January 15.

Start of Sinulog Trade Fair.

Department of Trade and Industry opened its trade fair at the Trade Hall of SM City Cebu. It features local delicacies, processed foods, organics, novelty items, wearables, health and wellness products and export quality furniture.

January 10, Saturday.

Sinulog sa Kabataan

sa Lalawigan.

This afternoon, 11 contingents from different towns of Cebu dance to the rhythm for this year's Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan. Before that, a parade of the participants takes place from Capitol Site to the Cebu City Sports Center.

Miss Cebu 2015

Pre-pageant night.

The public is invited to the pre-pageant night of Miss Cebu at the Terraces of Ayala Center Cebu at 6:30 p.m. It's a chance to get to know more of the candidates as they journey towards the Miss Cebu 2015 title. Coronation night is on January 14 at the Waterfront Cebu Hotel and Casino.
