Cameron's Grand Birthday Celebration

PEOPLE PLACES - Flor S. YNCLINO - The Freeman

Setting of a fantastic and one-of-a-kind birthday celebration ever to happen in this burg was at the Grand Ballrooom of Marco Polo Plaza Hotel Cebu. The place was transformed into a mini playground and saloon where rodeo rides and games were performed. And hanging suspended were blue, gold and brown strips of cloths with hundreds of blue balloons all over the place. In every nook and crany of the ballroom were children's rides and a tattoo designer table, where the young guests had different designs of tattoo. Very much noticeable were two tables filled with hundreds of giveaways for the young guests.

Meeting us after passing through a bulwark of balloons were Chris holding the birthday boy Cameron and his Mom Carla Yeung McKowen. Cameron was in a cowboy costume as every young guest came as requested in the invitation. Of course, the loving and doting grandparents, Carlos and Mariquita Yeung, who were more excited than the parents themselves, saw to it that nothing… nothing was spared to make this first birthday of Cameron a more meaningful and memorable one.

Enjoying the afternoon shindig were the young guests, and more especially the parents, of the overflowing food… merienda then dinner and wines galore. As we were in the sidelines watching the children, we were enjoying and titillated seeing the boys garbed in checkered shirts and long pants with boots and pistol-packed belts. Omigosh! The tykes enjoyed the games, the eats and went home full of marvelous giveaways!
