"Weddings at the Blu"

CEBU, Philippines - Bridal fairs at this time of the year may not be at all uncommon. And the city's five-star hotels won't be left out. Definitely not Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu.

Set on making every bride's dream wedding come true, the hotel celebrated the inaugural run of "Weddings at the Blu: A Bridal Fair" on September 20. More than 30 exhibiting wedding planners, jewelers, event stylists, couturiers, videographers, pâtissiers, florists and wedding suppliers presented the many ways they could help make the most important day of any woman truly memorable.

With more than 200 attendees present during the occasion, guests and brides-to-be gained new wedding day ideas from the bridal fair's exhibitors, as well as participated in the different activities that were held during the course of the event.

A novel wedding gown exhibit was also part of the two-day bridal fair's highlights - one where the gowns worn by brides who previously had their weddings in Radisson Blu were on display.

During the short program at its Santa Maria Grand Ballroom, Radisson Blu also launched its new wedding-package options - highlighting novel wedding package inclusions that have not yet been offered anywhere else in Cebu.

All in all a smashing success, "Weddings at the Blu" is well on its way in becoming one of the metro's highly anticipated bridal fairs. (FREEMAN)
