One day only: Shangri-La’s “Of Veils and Trails’

CEBU, Philippines - All is set for tomorrow's "Of Veils and Trails" bridal fair at Shangri-la's Mactan Resort and Spa. The event is a one-stop shop of various requirements and support services for weddings, such as bridal gowns by top fashion designers, florists, photo-and-video professionals, light-and-sound suppliers, décor providers, pastry artists, printers and the like.

Also, couples are given a tour around the different venue options at Shangri-la: the Swarovski- detailed Mactan Ballroom, the ivory-draped The Marquee, the glass-enclosed Ocean Pavilion, the scenic Ocean Terraces and the pristine beachfront of the resort. To make the tour even more romantic, enticing culinary exhibits are set up at each stop for the couples to sample tasty nibbles selected from the resort's wedding menus. A peek at the hotel's deluxe Bridal Suite with a panoramic view of the Mactan Channel's cerulean waters is also part of the string of activities that start in the morning.

The fair is to be capped with a confab at The Marquee, where couples are given the chance to interact with gown designers and the other service providers.
