Biketoberfest 2013

CEBU, Philippines - Now on its 5th year, the Star Touring and Riding Association-organized Biketoberfest continues to stand out as one of Cebu's unique and highly anticipated highlights, gathering different bikers from different walks of life together in one venue.

Set to take place this weekend in the Cebu IT Park grounds in Lahug, Biketoberfest 2013 maintains the standards and markers set by previously held Biketoberfest celebrations, deeming it as more than a large-scale gathering of bikers and motorcycle clubs, but also one that hosts its share of seminars, exhibitions and fun-filled competitions.

Kicking off with a Ride Around the City yesterday, this year's Biketoberfest 2013 showcases a range of competitions like the Slowest Bike, Best Customized Bike and Loudest Pipe, along with different motorcycle brand product launches, motorcycle stunt shows and more.

Also featuring live band performances and surprise numbers from participating clubs and the event's sponsors, Biketoberfest 2013 has also slated a Feed the Children and Giving of School Supplies and Lunch For Kids as part of its scheduled itinerary.

Last year's Biketoberfest – held on October 26 to 28, 2012 in the Cebu IT Park grounds – gathered close to 3000 participants hailing from the Visayas and Mindanao regions during its three-day run, along with a number of member-participants representing different clubs and organizations based in different parts of the world.

Staying true to the core values of family, camaraderie and friendship which led to the success of the first Biketoberfest held five years ago, Biketoberfest 2013 easily stands out in bringing an international community of bikers together in one exciting and fun-filled occasion.
