CEBU, Philippines - Fe Sala-Villarica did it once more! At 92 years, Cebu’s Grand Dame of the arts proved once again that she can start something from scratch and turn it into something relevant and she proved it after the success of the show “Divertissement” which also launched her new ballet company, Metropolitan Ballet Theatre, last  July 19  at the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel Cebu.

Metropolitan Ballet Theatre (MBT) is a newly-created chamber dance company composed of young and dedicated dancers whose passion is to dance, entertain and educate the audience. The eight, full-fledged company members are the couple Chris & Sheila Manlunas, Menreeve Cañales, Jeffrey Tapang, Sabrina Bogard, Nouelle Nebril, Graziella Lendio and Pamela Mangubat.

“Divertissement”  is a diverse program that features one-act ballets, excerpts from Le Corsaire, Paquita and Satanella as well as original and contemporary ballet.
