Will the “Lumia EOS” make its debut this March 14?

Nokia recently sent invites to various media outfits late last month, announcing an upcoming event that is set in showing off the brand’s growing Lumia series.

Scheduled to happen on May 14 in London, the invite does not indicate which Lumia model the Finnish handset maker intends to unveil, but popular rumors point to the “Lumia EOS”.

As a device, the “Lumia EOS” has been the subject of a lot of piqued interests, rumored to come with a 41 Megapixel camera. Apart from its impressive camera, the handset is also rumored to be the first quad-core Nokia-branded device.

As an upcoming member of the Lumia Series, the “Lumia EOS” handset is set to be a Windows Phone-driven device. The entry-level Lumia 520 and mid-range Lumia 720 are the more recently released models of the series, making their debut early this year.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will come with an octa-core GPU?

The latest rumors revolving around Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 notes that not only will the handset come with an eight-core processor, but will also come with an eight-core graphics processing unit (GPU).

In its report, SamMobile cites sources indicating that the Galaxy Note 3 will be rigged with the ARM Mali 450 GPU, which essentially boasts twice the graphics processing capacities of the Mali 400 MP GPU.

Other rumors delving into the hardware specs of the Galaxy Note 3 talk about its alleged 3 gigs of RAM, which is rumored to be matched with the Exynos 5 Octa chipset. In terms of screen size, the Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to feature a 1080p HD display, measuring 5.99 inches in size.

As leaks and rumors newsbits come, the abovementioned specs can’t be taken as the official hardware specifications of the upcoming Galaxy Note 3. But with a lot of leaks and rumors being spot on with their “forecasts”, the Note 3 may just be the most powerful smartphone to be released this year. — (FREEMAN)
