 For the first time ever in the hotel’s history of Culinary Journeys, Marco Polo Plaza brought before Cebuanos The Great Media Cookout at the Café Marco last April 12 which ran until the 21st.

 Featured were Cebu’s most knowledgeable media personalities with their selected dishes, the likes of: Honey Jarque Loop of The Philippine Star with her pollo ala chilindron and Lapulapu al horno; Ann Marie Tan of GMA Cebu – Chicken Binakol and Humba with Egg; Tonee Despojo of Cebu Daily News – Grilled Boneless Bangus and Steamed Lapulapu with Sunflower Oil; Noel Villaflor of SunStar – Sisig with Kesong Puti; Alexis Yap of RCTV – Kinilaw and Mango Float; Dr. Nestor Alonso II The FREEMAN – Jade Green Prawns, Crispy Squid Rolls and Beef in Perpetual Sauce; Blogger  Brothers Three - Doyzkie, Reymond and Edd Buenaviaje of Iluvcebu.com – Crispy Pata with Kare-Kare Sauce.

 Actually the Great Media Cookout was conceptualized by culinary expert and food consultant of Marco Polo Cebu Jessica Avila.
