Open house marks Heritage rebranding

CEBU, Philippines - An open house last March 2 marked the rebranding of The Heritage in Jagobiao, Mandaue City.

The Heritage, a 13.6-hectare premier development by Maria Luisa Properties, is now renamed Maria Luisa North-The Heritage.

According to sales and marketing director Mary Grace R. Cejas, the event provided familiarization opportunities to clients who earlier mistook the project as an upscale memorial park.

“We had this exhibit wherein prospective buyers inquired if we have something to do with Heritage (memorial park). It was kind of funny because The Heritage is built on what was formerly Hacienda Mandaue, which was owned by the ancestors of the family behind Maria Luisa Properties. Thus, Maria Luisa North – The Heritage is fittingly named as it is a place deeply rooted in family history,” Cejas explained.

“Maria Luisa Properties do not develop homes for the dead. To borrow the words of our president Madame Annie Aboitiz: We serve the living,” she emphasized.

“But we don’t blame those who earlier thought that we are a memorial park because during that exhibit, there was this Dolphy tribute happening in that mall. A standee of Dolphy was near our booth. So the clients began asking where exactly Dolphy’s tomb is,” she further recalled.

The open house cum family fun day gave the expected 80 clients to dip in the clubhouse pool and their children to enjoy the playground and the kiddie party prepared for them with the presence of clowns and stilt-walkers.

In The Heritage, Maria Luisa Properties through “The Residences” brand of houses developed by Homilee give you the gift of both the past and the future.

“Today, we welcome our buyers as they bring the richness of their own family history and allow it to take root here,” Maria Luisa Properties president Annie Aboitiz said.

Bankers from partner-bank Eastwest also graced the event to educate buyers on how they can avail of their dream home for as low as P6,988 monthly, based on every P1 million on a 30-year term, with first year fixing at 7.5 percent interest, starting at P1.5 million.

Clients may also check www.eastwestbanker.com, to check on personal loans that may fulfill financial needs of buyers with no collateral required.  (FREEMAN)
