Global carrier’s sporty christmas

CEBU, Philippines - Best in Costume. Robby Alugar (5th from left) in his ski attire won the Best in Sports Attire during the Global Carrier Phils., Inc. Sporty Christmas Party held on December 15. (L-R) Erwin Diaz in Figure Skating attire got the 4th place, Eliser "Duke" Espina, Jr. in his Equestrian costume – 3rd place, Elizer Agpalo wearing Ice Hockey – 2nd place, Global Carrier's Managing Director Ms. Carmel de Pio-Salvador, Vice President for Finance Dennis de Pio, Gemma Opolentisima in her Kayaking outfit – 6th place, and  Wiljun Camay in his boxing costume – 5th place.

In the spirit of Christmas, year after year Global Carrier Phils., Inc. employees and management takes the challenge by participating the Christmas tree making contest.

Last year's theme was "Super Heroes" a showcase of different authentic designs of Christmas trees representing the selected Super Hero characters.

This year, Global Carrier featured Olympics-inspired or sporty Christmas Trees to create awareness of the importance of sports as a wholesome activity for the whole family. Also this encourages individuals to engage in sports activities for the improvement of one's health. (FREEMAN)
