Discover Metro's 2012 Holiday Collection

Yasunari Ramon Suarez Taguchi - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - Distinct cuts, jewel tones and chic neutrals are the stand-out elements in the Metro Department Store's 2012 Holiday Collection, showcasing holiday picks that can be worn all year round.

Unveiled during the Discover Metro's 2012 Holiday Collection Fashion Show held last November 24 in the Activity Center of the Alabang Town Center, the featured creations of Cebu-based designers Arcy Gayatin, Mia Arcenas and Yvonne Quisumbing are perfect for those on the lookout for something festive to add to one's wardrobe this season.

Essentially a collaboration between Metro Department Store and designers Gayatin, Arcenas and Quisumbing, the Metro 2012 Holiday Collection was unveiled in Cebu last December 12, just in time for the season's slews of family gatherings and class reunions.

Highlighting fabulous pieces that are borne from the sensible amalgam of form and function, Metro's 2012 Holiday Collection gathers elegant cocktail dresses, form-flattering maxis, and endearing eveningwear classics, with pieces designed for daytime-casual wear, all-out-dressy wear and everyday cocktail/work wear.

Perfect for lazy Sundays, as well as the ideal wear of choice for crunch-time at work, Metro's 2012 Holiday Collection certainly does well in letting its wearers stand out this holiday season.

Metro's 2012 Holiday Collection's featured pieces are available in the Metro Department Store at the Ayala Center Cebu. (FREEMAN)
