Doña Miling Still Beautiful at 97

The Salimbangon matriarch, Milagros Lago Salimbangon was feted by her children with delightful dinner and dance at the Yeung manse in Nivel Hills. Led by Congressman Benhur and Janice, the rest of the siblings were Cesar and Fely, Carlos and Mariquita, Edwin and Edna, and Freddie.

Tiya Miling, as she is fondly and lovingly called by relatives and friends, still looks beautiful at 97. Smart and bejeweled, the grand old lady keeps herself healthy and strong, except for some pains on her knees. But she loves partying and meeting the friends of her children.

During her 97th birthday, danceable music was provided by The Renaissance Band where the young once took to the floor. And the MSYCFI board members rendered "Usahay" to the octogenarian who loves this song in memory of her husband Martin.

But everyone was so excited when Carlos and Kit announced that their pizza house was already ready for everyone to savor the products made by pizza master Giuseppe Genco. What Giuseppe is offering in his pizza parlor he also made and served these at the party. And all the guests had first and second helpings because the pizza was sooo good!
